That is why I want it setup next to me because I am working on the program that I use for Musicals. I have also used the WING for a few Musical theater shows. I even did one show where I used the WING and an M32 to get enough inputs. I like the look of the M32 and the feel of it more than the WING, but the capabilities of the WING make it hard to go back to the M32s. The WING has been a very capable console even much more than the Midas M32s that we have.

I am trying to figure out how to have both set up at the same time. At the moment I have a Midas M32 sitting next to me and the WING is in another room waiting to be taken back out of its case. It usually sits next to me in my office, except when it was in the truck all summer for our summer concert series.

While I think an offline editor would be really nice to have I have been using the WING for concerts and been getting along fine without an offline editor but I have had easy access to a WING. I may be repeating some of what Paul has already written so forgive me for that. Have you ever used a WING? What digital console do you use or have you used? But I feel that I can’t ignore your comments. I started this thread and it has swerved quite a ways away from the original intent.

The Behringer Wing is the only professional digital mixing console on the market without an Offline Editor, that says it all What I think that happened was that basically Behringer rushed up the release of the Wing in the end of 2019 when it was still a Beta product (bugs,bad touchscreen, no Offline Editor, No remote control app, no show control), thinking they would solve those issues in the next year, then Covid hit and now the War, so after almost 3 years it's still a Beta product.Īlso the X32 is still selling very well, which is understandable because it excels in everything the Wing fails, so maybe there's a motivation to slow down the development of the Wing in order keep selling X32 consoles while there's still demand for it. I consider that a professional digital mixing console is not complete without an Offline Editor and shouldn't be released into the market without one. I just personally find that an Offline Editor for a present day professional digital mixing console is not a "non-essential development", I think it's mandatory and part of the product. I had no idea they had to change the Chip-sets and I can understand that new firmware would need to be worked on.
